across the province. These events are organized and operated by the private sector and the number of events held
fluctuates annually.

FestiVin « a food and wine happening »
The FestiVin in Caraquet marks the starting point of the summer tourism season in the Acadian Peninsula. This year, it is taking place from May 28 to June 4, 2011. To celebrate this event's 15th anniversary, a full week of activities featuring wines from various regions in France, Canada, California, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy and Spain are being organised.
