NB Liquor opens new Saint John store

NB Liquor officially opened today its newest store, located at 31 Plaza Blvd., Fairville Boulevard Shopping Plaza, 

Saint John.

The 1,003-square-metre (10,800-square-foot) store introduces a new retail concept that creates a customer-friendly
shopping experience and uses retail floor space efficiently.

"The new liquor store meets all of the corporation's key criteria, including a highly visible location, easy access, ample
customer parking and modern decor," said Daniel Allain, president and chief executive officer, NB Liquor. "The free-
standing store is located in a new retail plaza and is adjacent to a large grocery retailer, which provides convenient
one-stop shopping for customers."

The store features 1,863 products, including 925 wine and 550 spirit listings. The large walk-in cold room offers 278
listings of chilled beer and 110 ready-to-drink beverages listings.

Other changes include new, low-maintenance flooring, product and mood pictures, a 2.4-metre (eight-foot) main floor
imported beer section, new racking in the cold room and split-end aisle displays providing flexible display options
designed to enhance patron shopping.

The store employs 15. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
